Our pups absolutely LOVE Jori and Austin and from the way they care for them, I know that the feeling is mutual! We have had Jori and Austin as pet sitters for years. Not only do they do an amazing job caring for Fred, Milton, and our chickens, they also do a great job caring for our home. It is always neat and tidy when we get home! We highly recommend these wonderful human beings and so do Fred & Milton!

Jori and Austin were absolutely wonderful house sitters for our menagerie of animals. They gave so much love and attention to our pup Bandit, taking him on daily adventures, making sure he was pampered, and given lots of healthy treats. They also managed the farm care like pros! They both have experience being around large farm animals, and it showed. They groomed the horses, made sure they were given their vitamins, water, food, and love. I would have them back ANY time. They left the house in perfect shape, were great communicators, and I felt completely comfortable with them while we were gone.

Right from the start, this experienced couple set up an open and trusting relationship by virtually meeting the pets and touring my home before their arrival. They are passionate about what they do and it shows. I received one or two updates a day, complete with photos, about what they were up to each day. I indicated that my dog was up for any adventure and they took her with them wherever they went. They took care of my home as if it was their own and left it exactly the way they found it. How lucky we were to have Jori and Austin pet sit for Shadow and Rocket! This world traveling pet sitting couple has nothing but 5 stars from all of us pet parents and for good reason. Our experience started with a facetime introduction with lots of questions and answers back and forth a month or so before the sit. When they arrived they were immediately a good fit to watch our dogs. They were so friendly it felt more like a visit from family. For the week we were gone they kept in good contact and sent occasional endearing pics (I'm going to add to my profile - they have a knack of getting just the right expressions.) They left the house spotless. We had occasional issues while we were gone - the power went off in town briefly; Shadow got stung by a yellow jacket and they encountered some wildlife here and there. They were troopers and communicative through it all. I am so grateful that our paths crossed, we will be following their adventures on Instagram (@nomadsandpawpads) and hope that some time in the future we can lure them back for another sit. Jori and Austin are incredible people! From the start they were really easy to communicate with and were very flexible with coming a couple days early to learn about my dog and home. They took wonderful care of my 5 year old Doberman and spent A LOT of time at home with her. Jori and Austin were extremely respectful of my home and belongings and were the perfect pet sitters from the get go. They are kind, generous, respectful, FUN, and caring humans. They are also naturally intelligent when it comes to animals and actually gave me some great tips for handling my dog! I have to add that upon my return, I spent an extra few days with Jori and Austin. During this time, I had an unfortunate minor accident. Jori and Austin canceled their plans to stay an extra week with me. They took care of me like family; cooking for me, taking my dog for her daily walk, going to the grocery store and pharmacy for me, etc. They were great company and comfort to me and I will never forget their kindness. Jori and Austin are one of the kind and I wish them the very best for all their travels and adventures. I definitely consider them as friends now and they will always have a home with me.

We had an out of state emergency and Jori & Austin immediately offered their help. They were Absolutely Wonderful. We can’t recommend them highly enough. Due to the criticality of the situation we had to extend our trip a week - and then ended up coming home two days early when our family member unexpectedly passed away. They were totally flexible and took the weight of the world off our shoulders so we could focus on our family situation. Their communication was excellent and proactive. They took charge of minor household issues like tripped breakers and needing to change batteries in the smoke detectors. Anything & everything we needed help with was covered. Our cats adored them and it was evident why in the daily interaction photos they sent. Our neighbors sent praise reports daily and our house was cleaner when we returned then when we left. They even offered to pick us up at the airport and grocery shop for us! Amazing! Super nice people. Couldn’t have dreamed of a better outcome, and we sincerely hope they will sit for us again in the future.

Jori and Austin were our first experience of having pet sitters. They were absolutely excellent in every way. They came to us a day early which was lovely as we all got to know them and show them how things work in the house and the walks that Leila loves. They are a really lovely couple and were just perfect. We felt very comfortable leaving Leila with them and they took great photos of the fun Leila was having with them. I know Leila was perfectly happy with them when we were away. We were lucky enough to spend some time with them before they went off to their next housesit, they were great company and they made a lovely meal for us before they left. I can thoroughly recommend Jori and Austin. I know Mike, Leila and I all felt very sad when they left us and felt as though a big part of our family had gone. On the good side, we will definitely have them to stay again and Leila was very happy when we told her that

Jori and Austin are truly amazing cat-sitters who exceeded our expectations in every way. They are great communicators, responding promptly to questions and providing daily updates with photos and videos of our cats Marley and Winston. It was evident that they put in extra effort to connect with the cats and make them feel comfortable, which we really appreciated. Jori and her partner Austin were all we had asked and hoped for, and more. Jori introduced us to some new systems that were a great help to making sure we were a good fit and that we communicated well (e.g., a video call and tour of the house ahead of time). Our home was in ship-shape condition when we returned, and clearly Ms. EmmaCat had been well-cared for. We highly recommend Jori and Austin to others. They were super responsible folk, anticipating our needs (and those of our pet!) and tending to all the "little" things that can make a difference. They sent us pix of our kitty during their stay, along with texts about what they were discovering and enjoying. We will invite them back anytime - not only for a pet-sit but if they happen to be enroute through our town for another sit. Just to set and stay awhile and visit in person! Yep, great folk!

Jori and Austin were absolutely brilliant! They are both so lovely and Annie clearly had a great time with them. They asked all the right questions and kept us so well updated when we were away with lots of messages and photos. They were also super considerate when we got delayed on our way home (and when we did, the place was spotless!). We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to look after your house and pet.

Jori and Austin were amazing house and pet sitters. They agreed to arrive the evening before we left and we spent a really nice evening together and I felt even a bit sad about not being able to spend more time together. They were communicative during the whole three weeks of their sit and pro-actively shared updates and pictures of our kitties. The cats were even cuddling with them already on the first day, so I am sure they enjoyed their time with Jori and Austin as well. They left the flat nice and clean, it's so great coming home to a tidy apartment. Definitely recommending Jori and Austin and we would be happy to host them again.

Jori and Austin house / pet-sit for me for 2 1/2 weeks and did a great job. We coordinated over Zoom and emails, as I wasn't able to be there when they arrived and they didn't miss a beat. The dogs (and bearded dragon) had a great time, and my kids loved getting photos of the pets while we were gone. They took great care of the house, and left it clean and tidy. They did a great job!

Well, what can I say about this wonderful twosome!! Our dog injured his toe the night before we left, Jori and Austin took care of Winston- took him to vet appointments, kept his foot covered up for walks, generally looked after him just like we would! As a pet mom its horrible to have your fur baby injure themselves anytime but hours before you leave on vacation....uhhhhh stressful Winston adored them and after they left he went to their room and laid on the bed pouting lol, so I know he loved having them there and we told them to come back to Canada to visit or stay with us anytime (sit or not lol)

Jori and Austin were fantastic with our dogs and took great care of the apartment. We really appreciated that they kept in contact with us during the sit and sent photos of the dogs to let us know that all was well. It was important for us to have someone who was genuinely comfortable caring for dogs. Bennigan and Lexi enjoyed their walks and playtime with Jori and Austin as well. We would definitely feel comfortable having them sit again and wish them the best during their future travels.

What a fab couple! Jori and Austin were dream house (and fluff) sitters. They were great communicators leading up to the sit, and kept us so well informed during too. The cats were so happy (almost too happy ;)) in their company. The flat was left super clean and tidy. Thanks so much guys - we would love to welcome you back when we are resettled in Düsseldorf.

Jori and Austin are humble pros! We were so lucky to have them stay with our three pets in our plant-filled home. They stayed for a week and with them here, it allowed us to relax and enjoy our vaca worry free. You’d be lucky to have them too!!!

Austin and Jori did a wonderful job caring for my place. They sent me updates on the animals and what was happening back home. I even heard from my neighbors that they were wonderful! Came back to a home in even better shape than when I left it! Would have them back anytime.

Jori and Austin were fantastic. They took on a last minute trip for us and we felt super comfortable leaving Moose and Kona in their care. We were so lucky to find Jori and Austin! They took care of Pickle, Carib and One Ear so well and it was clear that all of the pets really loved their company. They are lovely people and we feel honored to have met them and to have been able to spend some additional time with them. Due to the distance they traveled to help us with our house/pet sit they stayed a second week so we got to know them even better. We had such fun getting to know them, showing them some of the local places that we love, cooking with them and laughing a lot! I am sure they will do well with their pet/house sitting adventures as they are kind, loving, conscientious, fun to be around and not phased by traveling to new places at all however far it may be. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Jori and Austin were fabulous. Easy and quick to communicate before and during the house sit. They clearly loved the pets and took great care of them, sending me fun photos and videos along the way. I appreciate that they left the house sparkling clean too. I would not hesitate to use them again to house sit and recommend them fully.

Jori and Austin are GREAT sitters! To me, it's always a strange feeling to leave people you don't know in your home. Ultimately the concern is that they take good care of your pets, but you have strangers in your home which can be strange. This was definitely not the case with Jori and Austin. I felt completely comfortable with them, they felt familiar. So incredibly friendly, and just all around great people. One of our cats in particular just started rubbing up against Austin right away. Our place looked great and our cats were happy. The test for us is when we come home and our cats don't seem particularly excited to see us. That is a good sign and it means they were happy and not upset that we left them. This was the case when we returned (Pippi didn't even bother to get out of bed. Just looked at me and went back to sleep.....still stings...) I can't recommend Jori and Austin enough! They are amazing house guests, pet sitters and humans. I almost wish they could have stayed longer and enjoyed Berlin more, but hopefully they will be able to once again and we would be happy to welcome them.

I had a wonderfully positive experience with Jori and Austin! From the time they responded to my listing for a dog-sitter to the day they finished their sit, communication was friendly and clear. They took my dog Ozzy out for activities each day and gave him plenty of love, as was shown in the regular photos and updates I received. They left the house in perfect condition too. Ozzy and I would welcome them back anytime!

Jori and Austin are fantastic house/pet sitters. During my month-long trip they sent me videos and photos of my pets, and checked in if they had questions or to just stay in touch. My house was clean when I returned and the cats are happy and clearly were well looked after. Due to a health issue I had to return home a day early on very short notice, but Jori and Austin were accommodating, which I really appreciated during a stressful time. I've already recommended them to a neighbor! I'd be thrilled if they ever want to house/pet sit for me again.
